A world leading manufacturer of safety equipment for military aircrafts is looking to recruit a Systems Engineer who will play a crucial role in the development, integration, and testing of their cutting-edge aerospace systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Key Accountabilities - Systems Engineer

+ Employ a model-based systems engineering approach to manage requirements, develop architectures and coordinate/trace verification activities.

+ Undertake top-down system design, explore architectural options and complete trade-off studies using a variety of simulation/modelling tools.

+ Develop system requirements and translate them into subsystem requirements and interface definitions.

+ Take a leading role in technical interchange meetings with internal and external customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

+ Collaborate with implementation and verification teams to ensure delivery of a fully compliant system.

+ Technical reporting of key findings and recommendations for delivery to customers and other stakeholders.

Skills and knowledge required - Systems Engineer

+ Degree qualified in Physics, Engineering or Maths

+ Analytical Systems thinkers able to develop and communicate difficult/new concepts.

+ Ability to cope with a high degree of design complexity and significant levels of uncertainty

+ Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving (strong numerical and analytical ability) and driving difficult issues to conclusion.
