TEXO Recruitment are delighted to be representing our external client, a leading provided in engineering, manufacturing, and servicing of equipment. 

Our client has a requirement for a Mechanical Engineer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis at their workshop based in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire.

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for undertaking jobs and work instruction from the Workshop Manager and of the Company’s operational activities. 

Duties:
•    General workshop duties.
•    Follow company job cards.
•    Keep workshop timesheet up to date on all jobs.
•    Participate in HSEQ training or other identified training and personal development
•    Assist with any customer and/or third-party tasks.
•    Represent the Company in a professional manner both on and off the job.
•    Perform any other duties as directed by the Directors.
•    Assist with Forklift when required.
•    To follow organisational integrated management system policies and procedures in compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other legal requirements.

Requirements:
•    A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
•    Time served Mechanic with certificates of training to back this up.
•    Semi-skilled Mechanic (depending on the needs and requirements of the business) with certificates of training to back this up
