Structural Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team. This is a busy practice with a solid workload that requires continuity in their staff.

Their projects are wide and varied so there is little chance of getting stuck working on the same thing day after day. They are passionate about sustainable construction and thrive on interesting projects. They are based at Exeter and are offering this as a hybrid role- offering working from home at least 2 days a week.

The role :

  • Managing projects mainly domestic; extensions, refurbishment, renovations, alterations, and extensions.
  • Projects you would manage will be based in the South West, including Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset
  • To carry out surveys and produce reports.

About you:

  • Able to use ingenuity and creativity to resolve complex engineering and wider problems
  • Good grasp of the behaviour of structures
  • BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in civil or structural engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years' UK experience
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Experienced in Tedds, AutoCAD and Quicksoft
