Client: Since their formation almost 30 years ago, my client have gone on to become one of the most reproable commercial office fit-out M&E contractors in London. They have a reputation for delivering fast pace fit-out projects for the likes of Parkeray, Collins Construction, 8 Build and Knight Harwood. The business has a sensible approach to increasing turnover over the next 10 years to compete with large competitors with a bullet proof growth plan, sensible investment and repeat business. They are looking to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor to deliver a £6M CAT A fit out in Piccadilly.

Role: Mechanical Supervisor - £50,000 - £60,000 + Package

The successful candidate will report into a project manager and will be responsible for assisting with the management of projects from £500K - £7m Mechanical value. The project will be a commercial CAT A office fit out £6M M+E Package in Piccadilly.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Management of subcontractor labour
  • Attend site meetings
  • Progress reports
  • Prepare contract documents I.e. method statements, risk assessments, RFI’s, etc.
  • Health and safety
  • Review and amend RAMS
  • Red pen design reviews
  • Snagging
  • Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project

The ideal candidate:

  • Have good technical knowledge of Mechanical services.
  • Experience working in the building services, facilities management or construction sector
  • Experience working on projects of circa £1M within your own discipline
