Role: Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Company: Global Design & Manufacture of both bespoke and off she shelf products

Inhouse they Design, Prototype, Build, Test and make their products, the team is R&D/Engineering heavy and if you are an engineer at heart, someone who wants to get fully involved in your design projects and develop your skills, you'll love it here.
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be working with an experienced team who they can learn from, but also be given autonomy to find their own way.
Responsibilities:
- Concept and Detailed Design
- Develop and Innovate new solutions within new markets
- Liaise with manufacturing and customers alike
- Create reports and plans
- Be involved in testing and prototyping
Essential Skills:
- Use of 3D CAD, preferably Solidworks (other similar packages considered)
- Industry experience as a Design Engineer for 2 years or more
- Mechanical Engineering Qualification to be held (Degree, HND/HNC, BTEC, NVQ)
- Ability to manage 4-5 projects simultaneously
