Kenton Black Group are currently recruiting for a CNC Sliding Head Programmer for a growing Engineering firm based in Birmingham. Our client supplies their products internationally to a diverse array of sectors.

CNC Sliding Head Programmer - The Role:

Programming and Operating various CNC Sliding Head Machines.
Producing high quality components.
Loading and unloading of parts.
Manual Inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and calipers.
Client offers an ongoing commitment to training and career development.
Free on-site parking.
Ideally located for Transport links.
Pension scheme.


CNC Sliding Head Programmer - Skill Requirements:

Experience in Operating, Setting and Programming CNC Sliding Head Machines.
Experience with Star and Citizen Machines – Fanuc Controls.
Ability to read and interpret complex Engineering drawings.
Experience with machining of exotic materials.
Minimum of 3yrs working within a Precision Engineering Company.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Apprentice trained (preferable).
