Introduction


Our client, a leading engineering company in the water sector, is seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join their team in Ripon. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating and modifying 3D CAD models, ensuring accuracy and precision in design. This is a permanent position with the opportunity for growth and development within the company.



Job Requirements

  • Significant experience in 3D CAD, particularly using Inventor
  • Knowledge of the water industry, with a focus on chemical dosing, is highly desired
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn and adapt to new design techniques and software


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and modify 3D CAD models using Inventor
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate design representation
  • Conduct site visits to gather relevant data for design projects
  • Produce detailed technical drawings and documentation
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of design standards and procedures
  • Contribute to the design improvement process through innovative ideas and suggestions
