OVERVIEW

Atkins Search are working with an excellent consultancy who are keen to bring in an experienced Associate Civil Engineer to lead on a variety of interesting design projects.

CLIENT

Our client have been in the industry for over 30 years and are experiencing an exciting period of growth, bringing in larger projects of up to £20 million in value. Due to this increased workload they require an Associate Civil Engineer to join the team and take the lead on projects.

They have built a fantastic reputation for the quality of service that they deliver to their clients, resulting in high levels of repeat business from a number of key clients which gives them a great pipeline of work going forward.

ROLE

As an Associate Civil Engineer in this business you will be required to mentor junior engineers and technicians whilst taking the design lead on projects across a variety of sectors including industrial, retail, residential, commercial, education and public sector.

They expect an Associate Civil Engineer to have a history of job running for large scale schemes across a variety of sectors and a keen desire to develop their career in the coming years, with a Director level position possible in future for successful members of the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Associate Civil Engineer you will be expected to –

• Be the design lead on various civil engineering projects across the UK.
• Work closely with Directors in the business.
• Mentor junior members of the team and help to progress their professional knowledge.

PERSON

To be a successful Associate Civil Engineer in this business you will need the following.

• Chartered Engineer status.
• Experience working on projects through a variety of sectors as a lead engineer.
• BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Competent leader who communicates effectively at all levels.
