Our client, a thriving manufacturing company experiencing consistent year-on-year growth, seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in Corsham, Wiltshire. The role involves working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering both days and nights. The salary is £47,000 and benefits include 23 days of annual leave, fully funded courses, discounts at popular high street brands, and more.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
  • Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
  • Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
  • Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems.
  • Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
  • Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production.
  • Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
  • Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering.
