2 x  Mechanical Engineer 

Current SC level security clearance greatly  preferred ( but not essential but must be able to achieve )

Salary Estimated at  £50-65K plus potential company bonus , Good pension . SWAD days  25+8 holidays and flexi time 

Our client is a Project and design engineering company ( part of a larger international business ) working in a specialist area of the nuclear industry.

They are an international business and there is potential travel within UK, France , Holland and Germany.

This is a nationally security sensitive area of the nuclear industry  so SC level security clearance is required before starting.  The application process can be very lengthy and take 12 weeks  or more  for a UK passport holder  ( Not Dual Nationality)  and candidates will be unable to start until it has been secured. 

The role will be based in the UK near Chester with 2 days working from home and 3 in the office .

There will be a requirement to travel to Europe.  

Our client is looking for a process industry type back ground and a history of  being involved in the design of construction type projects. 
This is not a CAD based role and our client will be looking for infrastructure or process type projects experience .

The candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in the:

•  Development of process, mechanical and utility engineering solutions.eg process facilities with nuclear HVAC systems. 
• Production engineering design (system descriptions, equipment configuration datasheets, P&IDs)
• Technical management of suppliers (review detailed design information, attend equipment tests)
• Support site installation, testing and commissioning
• Completion of engineering studies looking into plant optimization

The candidate must be able to demonstrate previous experience in engineering  optionering  , FEED studies etc .
 
A degree qualification is essential
