Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, including providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the planning, development, and execution of software projects, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, architecture design, and software testing.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and budgeting for engineering projects.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, and provide guidance on technical feasibility and approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in software development.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies would be a plus.
