We’re looking for an exceptional Engineer to join our Operations Team at Skin + Me. This is a full time role based at our state of the art factory in North Acton.

About the role:

As an Engineer at Skin + Me you will be part of the end-to-end project process - from design, order & build of new machinery and infrastructure to power the business.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical engineering, controls and automation, electrical or similar and be highly competent at problem solving challenges in a manufacturing site.

What you'll do:

• Work on a challenging projects
• Deliver projects from across a range of challenges
• Work on a diverse range of projects across start to finish (install, test, modify, upgrade & develop machinery or infrastructure)
• Provide hands-on technical assistance on any major engineering issues in the factory

Who you are:

These are the skills we’re looking for. Even if you don’t tick every box, but feel you’re right for us, we’d still love to hear from you. 

• Great at problem solving, being creative and able to implement solutions
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Highly competent at 3D modelling in CAD packages (preferably Solidworks)
• Ideally have experience of PLC and control systems, relevant manufacturing techniques (e.g. laser cutting, CNC and injection moulding) and product packaging.
• A degree in engineering, controls and automation, electrical or similar
• Ideally have 1-2+ years of experience
